Muhammad was born in AD570. He was orphaned at a very juvenility age and was raised by his uncle. As he grew up, he developed into a responsible and kind young man, who worked strenuous as a shepherd and later as a trader.
At the age of 25, Muhammad went to work for a widow named Khadija. They married, had a family of 6 children and enjoyed a long and happy life together.
Muhammad was a deeply spiritual man. He would often go to a cave on surface Hira outside the city of Mecca to tap and meditate. It was while he was praying at Hira, at the age of 40, that something dreadful happened, which would change his life forever.
One day in AD 610, while meditating in a cave at Mount Hira, Muhammad believed the archsaint Gabriel appeared to him in a dream or vision. The angel told him to repeat the words he would tell him and to learn them aside by heart. This was Muhammads firstly revelation from God, and it was the first of galore(postnominal) encounters.
